Dear Sister in Christ,

I am delighted to share the details of this year’s Refreshing Springs Conference, which will take place at Gospel Vision’s Emmaus House from Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November. Followed by “A Special Night” at the Devonshire Arms Hotel on Monday 28th of November 2022.
This year’s theme is The Fruit of the Spirit – Galatians 5 verses 22-23.

Please join us for a time of refreshment, encouragement and worship. We want you to feel loved, cherished and special in a warm, welcoming atmosphere and feel blessed by the Word that is shared. It has been two years since we were together, and the team are excited to serve and look after you during your stay.

The weekend will be taken up with various sessions where we gather to be encouraged by the Word and blessed by fellowship. The Monday is a time to unwind completely in the hotel where we can be pampered and have opportunity to relax. You can book in for spa treatments, go swimming, or simply enjoy each other’s company in the relaxed atmosphere.

For those that enjoy walking the National Park has some very scenic routes that you can explore. Monday Evening is a time for us to dress for dinner, shine for Jesus and be beautiful witnesses for Him. We will be taking photographs of the night, copies of which can be ordered later. More details will be available nearer the time.

Gospel Vision’s Emmaus House has nine bedrooms, three of which are doubles and six singles making the total number of beds 12 which are available for sisters who have travelled a distance and need to stay over the weekend. In this case Emmaus House will be open from 4pm on Friday. There will be no charge for accommodation at Emmaus House and your stay there.

   Donations can be left if you desire. The Devonshire costs include a 3-course table service dinner, bed and breakfast and the charge is £150 per person based on two people sharing. The rooms are luxurious and have extremely large King / Double beds. Twin rooms are scarce so will be on a first come first served basis and attracts an additional cost. A beautiful welcome pack will be in each bedroom with Tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits.

Guests may check into their rooms from 4pm on the 28th but prior to check-in, have the whole day to go walking, enjoy coffee and cake in the café located in the splendid surroundings of Bolton Abbey or enjoy a swim or a spa treatment. (Spa treatments need to be pre-booked with the Spa directly on 01756715142) If you want to stay at Emmaus House, please return the booking form indicating this and we will book your room there.
