Retreat 2019

Refreshing Springs

The inspiration from the Holy Bible

John 7 v 37 – 38

Now on the last and most important day of the feast, Jesus stood and called out in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink!

He who believes in Me (who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Me),
as the Scripture has said,

“From his inner-most being will flow continually rivers of living water”

Lucy Wall

Lucy is originally from Motherwell in Scotland where she grew up with her sister Ashley

and her Mum and Dad. She now lives in London with her husband Jan and they’ve been
married since 2009.

After finishing High School, Lucy moved to London and spent three years training on a Musical theatre course at Arts Educational Schools in Chiswick. After graduating she went to perform in many different shows and she’s been a professional performer in London’s West End
Musical Theatre industry for many years.

She has performed in shows such as Oh! What a Night, Fame, Chicago, Mamma Mia, Legally
blonde, Matilda and the Sound of Music. Although Lucy is very passionate about Performing
Arts, her First Love is Jesus Christ and her writing is an outpouring of love for her Saviour.

Lucy’s poetry covers many different topics and show how Jesus can work through our lives in
a powerful yet natural way. Ranging from observational and humorous to deeply challenging
and difficult topics, the poems are often used to share Jesus and bring Biblical truths into the
lives of believers and non-believers alike.

Her prayer is that they would be used for God’s Glory many times over!

Lucy’s favourite Bible Verse = Ephesians 3: 20-21 NKJ Now to Him who is able to do
exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works
in us, to Him be glory in the church of Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.

walls with precious stones.

My Dear Sister in Christ (2019),

Refreshing Springs Retreat

Take this precious time to sit at the Lords Feet. Be encouraged that it

is no coincidence that you have attended the First Refreshing Springs
Retreat. I believe the Lord had already predestined this for you by his
divine grace.

I am whole heartedly believing also that every sister that gathers will
encounter the love of God as we worship and begin to feel the restorative
arms of Him around us. In the midst of our storms and challenges
sisters you will find Him there.

This is your new season of refreshment; please enjoy every moment as
we come together to love and adore Him, and as we come together as
sisters’ lets serve the one true King, go out, refreshed, restored, renewed
and ready to expand His Kingdom and live that abundant life that our
dear Lord Jesus Christ died for.

We are here to encourage you,

Every Blessing
